When it comes to energy efficiency, mismanagement of energy could be both wasteful and costly for multifamily properties. Scott Burns of Marathon Energy Corp. talks to The Cooperator on what could be done to prevent those mistakes.
The concept of 'waste' is the point. No one wants to waste money. Leaving hallway lights burning all night long has been a mistake Europeans have eliminated decades ago. How about co-op buildings over-heating in winter ? When I visit Open House visits, so many big buildings are hot, and agents though open windows to make the visit comfortable to prospective buyers. The list of wasted energy /efforts is HUGE !
