It appears that the owners of a condo building in Manhattan’s Soho neighborhood are relieved that one of their own has finally moved out.

The New York Post reported that celebrity photographer Ken Nahoum, who once owned a penthouse at 95 Greene St., left the building earlier this month, perhaps finally putting to rest tensions between Nahoum and his neighbors that had lasted for about 30 years.

According to the story, Nahoum had allegedly refused to pay his common charges and apparently still owes over $250,000 to the condo, said an attorney for the board. As a result, the building cut off elevator access to Nahoum's penthouse. The board had previously sued Nahoum over delinquent fees.

Two years ago, after declaring bankruptcy, Nahoum sold his penthouse to private lender Titan Capital to settle a $13.5 million debt, according to the Post..

In a letter (whose subject heading read, “Our Long Condominium Nightmare is Over!") distributed to the building's owners and residents, the board wrote that Nahoum did not make any money from the penthouse sale.

The letter went on to say that “Also the Board, for whom Nahoum has been a continuing distraction for almost three decades, can now focus its attention on improving the environment in the building rather than on Mr. Nahoum’s delinquences and shenanigans,” and also alleged that Nahoum “stripped the units of fixtures, sinks, doors and toilets, leaving them in disarray,” before he left.

The penthouse triplex—which is a combination of three separate units—is expected to go on the market for $15 million. Consisting of more than 8,000 square feet of interior space and 4,000 square feet of outdoor space, the penthouse features “a Philippe Starck-designed kitchen, four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a whopping six terraces,” Curbed reported earlier this year.

The listing is reportedly being handled by brokerage firm Compass.

According to Mansion Global, Nahoum has photographed such stars as Cher, Michael Douglas, Robert De Niro, and Dr. Dre. He and his attorney did not offer comment to the Post
